Umer has been a fundamental part of the SEED team and has spearheaded multiple projects, mainly related to social entrepreneurship. He started off as a supporting member in projects, and subsequently emerged as one of the most passionate trainers at SEED.

He believes in shifting the mindset of the masses as a means for social change and has delivered training under the banner of SEED through PEMS (Potential Enterprise Mapping Strategy), SEUM (Social Enterprise University Model) and BELT (Balochistan Entrepreneurship & Leadership Training) in various universities and forums such as University of Gujrat, University of Agriculture (FSL), BUITEMS, Gwadar, Quetta and all six districts of Karachi.

He is currently working as a Programme Co-ordinator for Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, an initiative of Prince’s Trust International.

Umer has a degree in Accounts and Finance from Institute of Business Management. At SEED, Umer is co-ordinating and managing Social Incubation Centres in the six districts of Karachi which involve training and mentoring incubatees.

He is now part of SEA Pakistan as Learning Coordinator and is keenly exploring avenues to strengthen the Hub.
