SEED Ventures and Synapse, Pakistan Neuroscience Institute, have taken the lead in investing in Cognite. This distinguished private research consultancy service specialises in constructing a comprehensive databank of the mental health ecosystem in Pakistan. With a team comprised of seasoned mental health specialists and social enterprise experts, Cognite offers a balanced and complete approach towards mental health.
Their vision is to foster accessible, evidence-based mental health solutions for everyone and are on a mission to create a research repository generating digital solutions for a contextualised mental health ecosystem.
Impact Dashboard
Impact Dashboard is a pioneering narrative specialist company that operates with the purpose of leverag- ing storytelling to inspire significant and enduring social change. This mission is accomplished through a unique approach named the MMM approach, which expertly transforms inspirational moments into momentum and subsequently fosters a widespread movement.
Ensogov
SEED Ventures and Matriarch Ventures co-invested to create ENSOGOV, an innovative startup working in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) tech and data sector. Driven by a vision to co-create a sustainable future for generations to come, ENSO- GOV is committed to removing existing barriers and seizing opportunities today. Their purpose is rooted in fostering a fair and inclusive world, where responsi- ble business practices align with societal values.
ENSOGOV’s primary offerings are designed to simpli- fy and accelerate the ESG journey for businesses. In a world where the importance of sustainable practice is increasing, the company recognizes the growing demand for businesses to address ESG risks and opportunities. To meet this need, ENSOGOV provides a comprehensive suite of tools and services. These encompass areas such as Advocacy & Communica- tion, Sustainability Reporting, Raising Capital, Tech- nology & Data, ENSOGOV Sprints, and Self-Service Toolkits.
Spectreco
SEED Ventures, recognizing the potential synergy of sustainability, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Gov- ernance) elements, and technology, strategically co-invested in ENSOGOV and Sustainability, leading to the creation of SpectrEco.
SpectrEco, an organization driven by technology at the forefront of sustainability innovation, intends to simplify the integration and reporting of sustainability and ESG in vital sectors, including Real Estate, Hospi- tality, and Infrastructure.
FeedSol
FeedSol is a social enterprise developed by Engro, SEED Ventures, and FMO to offer quality, nutrition-rich, and affordable animal feed products to smallholder and medium-sized dairy farmers to improve livestock health, increase milk yields, and improve dairy farming economics in Pakistan.
Improving the viability of rural areas through the support of multi-functional agriculture and alternative options of livestock feed was the ultimate goal behind this whole project. Our purpose is to ensure the availability, accessibility, and affordability of essential feed products. We build sustainable livestock supply chains. On a global landscape, the intensive demand for livestock and livestock products, such as meat, dairy, and milk has spurred the growth of animal feed production and animal feed exports among many leading animal feed companies around Pakistan.
Mohafiz
Mohafiz is a life-saving mobile application that allows you to broadcast a life-threatening situation to the people you choose as ‘In Case of Emergency (ICE)’ contacts through SMS, Facebook, and Twitter. Mohafiz and its features are a response to the lack of government infrastructure when it comes to providing emergency support services.
Mohafiz app has been developed by taking into account all the features needed for someone in grave trouble. Mohafiz was able to show its impact within Pakistan in the number of lives that it has helped. The app has been able to provide on-the-ground support as well, having handled over 114 cases of harassment and has remained active in the pandemic with 1,013 Covid-related distress requests being catered to. The app has played a satisfactory role in ensuring that safety and health are accessible to all.
AEROsync
AEROsync, established in 2016, is a product design company. It develops and produces products designed around consumer challenges, and aims to deliver convenience and positive social impact through their functionality.
This start-up was initially incubated by SEED Ventures, and within a year showed signs of promising growth. Henceforth, SEED Ventures has subsequently
guided and mentored them through the process of developing workable prototypes and piloting these prototypes to evaluate the efficacy of their designs.
