Imarah

About Imarah

Imarah is a transformative women’s empowerment initiative dedicated to uplifting the community in Karachi’s Mehran Town by fostering economic independence for women. Designed to break barriers and create opportunities, the programme equips women with essential skills through early-stage learning, vocational training, and entrepreneurial development—empowering them to build sustainable livelihoods and shape their own futures.

The Fahmida Begum Foundation (FBF) plays a pivotal role in this mission, providing a dedicated physical space for the initiative while actively identifying beneficiaries and ensuring meaningful impact. With FBF’s unwavering support, Imarah is not just a programme—it is a movement driving lasting change, unlocking potential, and reshaping the socioeconomic landscape for women in the community.
