About Imarah

Imarah is a women empowerment project designed with the vision of uplifting the community in Karachi’s Mehran Town by economically empowering the women living in the community. The programme focuses on early-stage learning, vocational skills training, and entrepreneurship for women.

Fahmida Begum Foundation has provided the physical location for this intervention along with working closely to identify beneficiaries and monitor impact. With the support of FBF, Imarah is set to create a positive impact and transform the lives of women in the community.

Key targets for the project:

Year 1: 75  women

Basic Literacy: 45 women

Skill Development: 20 women

Enterprise Development: 10 women

Gulbaz Khan | Project Lead

Gulbaz is a highly skilled and dedicated professional with five years of experience working at SEED Ventures. Some of his notable projects include the Enterprise Challenge Pakistan, Aoo Likhain Kahani, and the Begum Fehmida Foundation. With a strong background in project management and leadership, Gulbaz has played a pivotal role in ensuring the successful completion of these projects.
